We need to go into it and play at a high tempo by being difficult to beat. Moyes made his name at Everton doing this and being huge underdogs will suit his style I am sure.

I don't expect United to go through neither do I expect Bayern to beat us out of sight either.

In cup football though you never know. Bayern could get someone sent off for handball on the line in the first minute (so could United) so I wouldn't completely rule us out as of yet.

I'm sorry, but this is the definition of "clutching at straws!"

Bayern will just plan for you to be at your best, and if you're not then you'll get trounced and if you are it will be close but they will still win over 2 legs.

However, you are right in saying it's a cup game and anything can happen.

If Man Utd somehow fluke the CL it will be L0serpool who will lose their spot as they wont finish higher than fourth.

I think we can win the 1st leg (around 5/1 odds - when have United ever been 5/1 at home?). Guardiola's Barcelona didn't have the greatest record in away knockout ties. We don't really know how that has transferred to Bayern really because of the sending off in the game with Arsenal. I thought Arsenal were very much in the game up until then.

I think you stand a better chance beating them in Germany than at OT to be honest.
