The China Open begins on 31 March and runs through to 6 April.
The event in Beijing is the final ranking event before the World Championship in Sheffield just a few weeks later.

Ding equals a Hendry record of 5 rankers in a season. In ten years time Hendry might not have many outright records of his own anymore. Century count is bound to go next couple of seasons too.

A good achievement, I just wonder how many ranking titles Hendry could have got in one season. .... if there were 20 tinpot minor ranking tournaments per season back then!
