Is flying into tackles a punishable offence now? Maybe if you had just one player that showed the desire of gerrard, you wouldn't have been hammered so many times this season...

Should he not have been sent off on Saturday? He regularly goes in two footed and sometimes he even gets the ball!! Since he's moved further back it seems to have got worse. Ref's are now terrified of sending Liverpool players off as they must be scared of what old tango face might say about it as he seems to have an opinion about everything lately. Whats the minutes silence at Anfield goign to be for this week? Has the kit mans dog died or something?

Gerrard has had a pretty decent season, it pains me to say. However, I dont think he is the best in the CDM role, he has got the passing range to do an admirable job.

I'm not saying he hasn't had a good season I'm just saying he gets away with an awful lot, he's not the only one in the league but with the media lovein that Liverpool have I think ref's are worried about the repercussions if they sent him off which he should have been on Saturday and other occasions. No doubt greatteams will have a completely different unbiased view. They have had to drop him to a deeper role because he cannot play the game the way he used which is a shame for England as he's one of the few who actually cares about playing for his country. He's the best deadball deliverer in the league though in my opinion

Meh, I dunno about last weekend. If he had been sent off he would be 'unlucky to be sent off' for example. He has been in the book a lot this season so its not like he is protected.

Every foul after that, the Cardiff fans were shouting '"off"

Not every foul is a yellow and I agree with my fellow red - if you had someone willing to put himself on the line like Gerrard then I'm sure your points tally would be better

I agree not every foul is a booking, although having watched the barca match the other week they clearly do! The way they surround the ref is a disgrace, its like watching ferdinand and his clan when something goes wrong.

Anyway I'll be at the game sunday and whatever happens happens I guess, Liverpool fans are mostly writing us off, can't blame them after the WHL embarassment but we played well up there last year despite the result and hopefully we can shut a few of the crowing fans up
