This won't be popular but Fawaz is a loose cannon.
1) Sacks Cotterill without a replacement lined up. Gets blown out by McCarthy. With the season fast approaching takes advice from the players and appoints O Driscoll.
2) O Driscoll sacked on Boxing days after Forest beat Leeds 4-2 to move into 7th.
3) Replaced with Alex McCleish. One win in seven. As transfer deadline day looms George Boyd fails an eye test leaving McCleish furious. Luckily for Forest McCleish does the decent thing and resigns ensuring he won't get a penny in compensation.
4) Appoints Billy Davies.
5) Rewards Davies with an extended contract.
6) Sacks Davies.
7) Looks like appointing Neil Warnock.
Warnock is the wrong fit for Forest. reminds me of the Kinnear appointment. You just no it won't work out. If Warnock does ok and is in charge next season I guarantee by the start of October everyone will be on here complaining the brand of football is not the forest way. Guaranteed. Dated methods, 80s manager. We need clear direction - look at the Swansea chairmans consistency in his appointments. All had a similar philosophy over the last 10 or so years. It boom or bust at Forest. Our desperation to get in the play offs this season suggests to me that the current business model, if there is one is not sustainable.
Fawaz you need to be more considered fella. Appoint a good Chief Exec and stay behind the scenes. Shambles. Warnock might get results in the very short term but the bloke is a clown, an utter clown. Boom or bust approach. Even if we fluke promotion we'd do a Cardiff next season and completely implode because of a chairman lack of patience, football knowledge.

If it was Collymore as striker I'd be up for it.
I hope the Warnock deal has collapsed. I'd love us to take a risk and bring in a young but talented manager with the aim of playing good football. I know Rosler isn't that young but that's the type of manager we need, a Martinez, Rodgers even a Di Matteo type.

I would like to see Charlie Mac involved as he had a great spell in charge as part of the Charlie and Frank double act which was a whisker away from getting Forest into the play offs several years ago from a similar position after Mugson went. Think it would represent Forest's best chance from such a tricky position with games running out and rivals all in form.
