Disappointed to see Billy leave at this juncture. However it does appear with Warnock refusal to take the job there was interfering by the owner in team selection and which players came in.
I recall watch a match in which it was clear Reid was not passing to Abdoun and there was hint of rift between the English and Algerian players.
Perhaps this was why the relationship between Billy and Fawas broke down.
My point is its not all one sided as fans on this site and the media are trying to make out. The owners are in part to blame. Next time employ a head coach and not a manager.

Billy's gone, he's never coming back, let's move on.

Yes Billy has gone but if Fawaz is making demands of the manager that are unreasonable and signing players for marketing instead of footballing reasons then that is a reason to worry, isn't it?...

There is no proof of this. If you read some reports... it is Fawaz saying he wants the final say on transfers. If I was the owner... I would too!

Let's not forget here that this IF TRUE is what Fawaz is asking for now; wouldn't you do exactly the same if you'd just had the faith and trust you'd placed in the man a majority of your fans (the vocal ones anyway!!) insisted he bring in?
He trusted his club to BD and JP and they have manouvred themselves into a position where they're the only people with any input; it's gone from an acquisitions panel, manager and chairman decision to whatever Billy wants, and I'd not be surprised at all if he's not now reluctant to make the same mistake again.
Fool him once, shame on you; fool him again, shame on him!

True, 666. Fawaz needs to tread carefully now. Maybe a slightly less high profile media existence would help? Desperately needs a Chief Executive to come in and be the mouthpiece of the club.
