Where does he threaten to quit f1? Of course any interview with him is going to be published across the media. He was asked a question and gave an answer. Absolutely nowhere does he threaten to quit f1.

read it again...he may not say the exact words "we will quit" but he's very much leaning on them with the good ole if we don't get our way here and there we may well leave
a bit like Ferrari used to do and get lambasted for

In an interview with Viennese newspaper Kurier, he said when asked whether to stick with F1: "The question is not so much about whether it makes economic sense, but more to do with the sporting value, political influence and the like.
"We have had it all but from our perspective there is a clear limit to what we can accept."
Mateschitz is hopeful of proving that Red Bull did not break the rules at the season-opener in Melbourne and that the FIA-supplied fuel-flow sensor was at fault.
"The fact is that the federation's sensor has given inaccurate values since the beginning of the winter tests. We can prove that we were within the limits," Mateschitz said.

tino
bit of a storm in a tea cup - as usual the media are blowing every thing out of proportion putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 39 for the sake of sensationalism -
no where in the interview does mateschitz say he is thinking of pulling out , clearly he is miffed about the fuel flow sensor debacle and rightly so -
------- nothing more nothing less

I saw it as well and it made me chuckle. They think they are Ferrari. They cheated, they got caught and have to face the music.
I remember last year they were talking about fairness when people were testing tyres. Now they want to use a different system to everyone else because they are who exactly?
Idiots

I didn't read the full interview as I can't read German text and couldn't find a translation.
