Just a word on Ross McCormack

I'm not a frequent poster on this forum but just wanted to publicly recognise Ross McCormack for his contribution in (yet another) hugely disappointing season. To score 26 out of 51 goals for a team (yes over 50%) is a phenomenal achievement.

Let's face it none of us could have blamed him if he had left in Jan, he probably wishes he had himself sometimes, and we'll probably have to sell him in the summer to reduce the wage bill / pay the wages of most of the other 44 sub-std players. But whatever happens he's been phenomenal for us this year. Without his goals we'd probably be relegation fodder.

I'm as despairing as everybody else today about the future of LUFC but let's congratulate a true Captain when we see it.

Thanks Ross. Forever white.

Everyone knows am a massive fan of Ross.

But I actually don't think he's been at his best a lot of the time this season.

There more to come and would shine a lot more with better players ( know that sounds obviously but it's not the same for every player)

Funny that as I was going to post something like this today. Reason being, I read a post on a different thread stating that minus his goals, we'd be bottom of the league, 9 points off 23rd. His goals have earned us 24 points

@Rossmccormack44: Heads spinning with all the rumours and all the ITKs on here . Off to sleep. Looking forward to training tomorrow.

He's saying all the right things and I would love him to stay and become part of a successful LUFC.

But I have a niggling feeling he will go.

What we want is a team full of Ross McCormacks!

He might have gone but it doesn't mean he wanted to go!

We've had many players who have been sold in the past who wanted to stay at the club. Too many to list to be honest!
