Peltier's agent, Barry Whelan, confirms
"We have been in conversations for the last three weeks with Nottingham Forest over a long-term move for Lee, but there has also been interest shown in him from two other big clubs and that complicated things," Whelan told Sky Sports.
"Lee has always wanted to go to Forest, but there were complications at the Leeds end which held things up.
"The issue has now been resolved and Lee is looking forward to going to Nottingham Forest and helping them in their bid to make the play-offs."
Peltier, it seems, has signed for Forest

"Decent centre back or so I was told by a Leeds fan I work with."
It's difficult to gauge on line whether a reaction is genuine or they actually thought it was funny

Hes ok Ray, only for cover really which is what you have brought him in for. I would play him on the right, hes not the best defensively but causes problems going forward. Should do a job

Cheers lads
You know as much as us, L1 was a laugh, the away games were imense. I wouldn't wish any team to go into admin though, as fan of the game in general.
On Peltier, he's rubbish. Glad we've offloaded him.

If it helps this is what I said on the Leicester board when he left us for Leeds:
"In all honesty:
Good points: a good athlete and good energy. Versatility meant that he could cover a few positions, which made him a useful squad player.
Bad points: regularly caught out of position defensively and, although he was often available on the overlap, his delivery of a final ball was too often poor quality. Not really good enough for a team that expects to be challenging for promotion, but a decent championship pro.
He wasn't near the top of my list of players I wanted to go, but I only really saw him as a squad player. I saw him as a back up right back (not 1st choice as he was for us last season), fourth choice centre back or injury crisis midfield stop gap."

.... but apparently he played CB for Leeds and initially did quite well. ....
