The Moaning Thread

Just thought I'd create a thread for those who have resigned themselves to defeat at Burnley. When we lose, this is where you can get it all off your chest- Nigel needs to earn his money, Vardy is woeful, Players aren't interested, we've thrown away the title etc..

It's a lovely sunny day and we had to stay in and listen/watch a game that only gave us 2 goals, not good enough. Also, how dare we beat another team according to Sky, disgusting.

Right I'm fuming!!!!!

I had to wake up go down to the stadium collect my bacon cob myself with a cup of tea, recieve a complimentary t shirt and then board a coach for the match.

Why the **** did we not ravel in a luxury coach last night and be put up in nice hotel with beers paid for transfers to the ground full English breakfast included and then a trip back on Sunday after a night on the town all paid for?

Top sort this out. I'm sick of being treated like a nobody.

My player ratings for Burnley are:

Schmeichel - 1 Rubbish at crosses and can't kick
De-Laet - 1.5 Quick, but very suspect defensively
Morgan - 1.5 Fell over at one point. Forest reject. Can't understand why Pearson signed him
Was - 1 Fat. A red card waiting to happen.
Sclupp - 2 Can't play at left back
Mahrez - 1 Waste of money. Don't know what he offers
Drinkwater - 1.5 Just passes the ball sideways
James - 1 Not good enough. Doesn't get involved enough
Knocky - 1 Inconsistent. Don't know why Pearson bought him and let Danns go
Nugent - 3 Rare goal from open play, but didn't do much else
Vardy - 1 Non-league player and looks it

Wood - 3 motm. Poor in the air for a big man and slow, but managed an assist
and goal
GTF - 0.5 Fat pub player
Hammond - 0 Did nothing in the few minutes he was on

Joby, I'm in tears reading that - brilliant, just brilliant.

However, you forgot to rate Pearson: -1 - got his tactics all wrong playing a strong back line against a direct Burnley team. Should have played Logan up front as everyone knows keepers are better strikers than striker, and finally, having come home to watch the highlights on sky I saw him compliment Burnley in his interview. Who does he think he's the manager of. I've always said he's tactically inept and can't manage top players with egos like the mercurial Beckford. We should have had Mills and Johnson starting today but instead we had Morgan and DD.

Shameful.

I'd forking drop Kasper, all he does is stand around doing fork all most games. I want someone who runs around so get rid I say and bring danns back into the midfield.

The thing I miss about Sven is the excitement. You never knew what would happen, one minute you'd beat the league leaders, the next a 3-0 drubbing at home to Millwall. Under Nigel we haven't lost for 19 games, how utterly boring is that? It's like a throw back to the drab MON days and we swore we would never want to see that at this club again.

Even Sven found it unpredictable at times as he reportedly handed his players a bit of paper each and asked them to write down what they thought was going wrong. That's the kind of class and humility Pearson could only dream of. While Sven was at home googling 'how to be consistent in football', Nigel has shown none of that smart thinking and just signs young hungry talent and knits them into a team. Idiot.

Picking up on Black Starr's point, it's the lack of respect for club traditions that gets me about Pearson.

This has always been a club that takes pride in it's ability to confound prediction, by beating top sides one week and losing to the bottom club the next.

That sort of inconsistency is what has made life as a Leicester fan endlessly entertaining for decades and is the envy of more predictable clubs like, like, well you know what I mean.

Then Pearson comes along and engenders this ultra professional approach and relentless consistency – where's the fun in life now? We can't even worry about whether we'll get promoted or not, just when.

It's just not right.
