He seems to have had some sort of breakdown and like our wooly friends said cracks under pressure and can't allow or stand criticism.

To be honest he's best to leave it alone. I know as fans we are largely the forgotten party on things and opinions of many who were there from our side, are somewhere between the original and new official perspectives. But those sort of opinions are nearly always met with strong ill feeling.
