Old Trafford naming rights

Was listening to TalkSport this morning, I know, terrible source to quote blah blah blah. But Richard Keys was adamant that his 'source' knows that we are in advanced talks with Nike regarding the the naming rights. Possibly generating 500m.

Let's have a vote

1* Rename to > Nike Stadium
5* Do not sell naming rights

If, and a massive IF, the only way I would consider the deal if ALL the money was to be invested in 5/6 world class players, coaching, youth team. Nothing goes to those greedy glazers!

Ooh that's a mean old one... That would've sparked a debate alright... Unless?...

Only quote worth reading:

Last night the Premier League champions dismissed the claims as “rubbish”.

Naming rights gotta be one of the most overrated and overreacted to things in football.

Even if we do sell it eventually it wouldnt make a difference and we would still call it old trafford.

if in the future we can do it and get a large some for it that can hep the club out id be all for it.

Cant understand why some poeple get upset by it.

It wouldn't surprise me. In fact the only surprise is that it hasn't happened already, given the Glazers' relentless pursuit of sponsorship deals.
