I am ecstatic that we are going to be promoted this season.
But is anyone else slightly gutted that this season is coming to a end? I cant ever remember a season in which we have played such exciting football, looked unbeatable in most games and broken so many records!

Keep the happy thoughts in your head for next season, think about the number of teams who get promoted and have a poor start. Fans become disgruntled and before you know it the manager is out of the door,Malky Mckay at Cardiff being an example. Lets not make the same mistake guys.

Think of it as like The Wire ending but Breaking Bad starting soon.

Time to sign Heisenberg as manager – I mean the Breaking Bad one – although thinking about it, we have always applied our own 'principle of uncertainty' apart from this season.

I think Cardiff and especially Fulham could potentially have done us a big favour this season if they go down - and also Norwich if they stay up, by sticking with Houghton.
Unless we have an absolute disaster at the beginning of the season and get comprehensively beat for the first few games, I hope the owners stick with Nigel and see what he can do in the Prem. He's certainly earned the chance.

Not really. Just so pleased we've been around to witness such a fantastic season. Would be very surprised if anyone predicted we'd be looking at our potential final points total at this stage. We are not champions yet, but YES this will be a difficult time to match in the future, so I get your drift Trish.
Agreeing with T and F here, we MUST NOT do a Cardiff, Fulham or even West Brom and STICK by NP for the whole of next season.

Yes this is a fantastic season but let's not forget a few years ago- Div one was also a great year. Of course the quality of the football was not so good but we dominated the league, we were winning, winning and winning. I even forgave Hollow-words for taking us down. Incidentally that man is so unstable- takes two average sides up to the Prem, and now is about to take his second side to Div 1! I wonder if the Millwall thugs will kill him?

Actually I think it'll be the third side he's taken down from this level - I recall he took QPR down as well, although got them back up again eventually.
Certainly a chairman shouldn't expect an Ian Holloway side to stay in the Championship long, one way or the other.

The answer to the Olly question is really quite simple in that he 's a "finisher" , he can either finish off a promotion push when a team is heading in the right direction or he can get them relegated when they are the downwards slope.
With this simple answer it beggars belief that the Millwall board employed him unless of course they wanted relegation?
Shame his name wasn't mentioned for the Forest job.

There aren't enough fixtures left for Forest to be relegated. They'd have needed to bring Holloway in as soon as they were aware that they were in danger of finishing in the top half of the table.
