Hafeez steps down as captain

Good riddance. Best thing he's done in a very very long time, so credit where it's due. He's given pak fans something to smile about finally.... Would have been even better if he resigned full stop. The guy is useless and a waste of space. Picked players who he liked personally as opposed to best cricketers. Him and Malik are trouble causers and should have a serious think about what they are trying to achieve with their selfish objectives

I'm still disappointed because I misread the word "resigns" for "retires". I prefer the latter.

Great news. Hopefully Afridi will take over T20s. A true leader but even he can't stop the likes of Malik and Goofy making another comeback.
Heads need to fall from the board for this shambolic squad and we also need to axe Mo Akram as bowling coach. He has offered nothing in terms of bowler development. Most bowlers have gone downhill and can't even do the basics or stick to a plan.

All in all it's the best thing, quiet clearly we haven't improved at all since he took over, two failed world cups under his captaincy. Same players in both WC, Malik, Kamran, Tanvir etc etc
I really hope Afridi takes over, his interview when arriving in pakistan completely shows what this team is missing. Rightfully he described the team as too slow. One this is for sure, he will not carry passengers in this team, so if he does takeover, bye bye to malik and kamran.

He's 5hit, just like the rest of the pakystan team
