I am not saying we don't pay big wages relative to the rest of football but we are not in the same bracket as those 3 (even Utd are now moving passed us in terms of wages).

My general point was you said Arsenal can't compete with us for wages. I am pretty sure you can.

Ozil earns more than Hazard and Wenger about the same as Jose I thought. Plus you gave Walcott a big new contract.

In the case of someone like Costa (who looks to be the guy Jose has earmarked as our big striker signing) when we might throw all our resources at getting him then maybe not. But for most signings, I think you could.

Hazard - £185,000 per week.
Walcott - £100,000 per week.
Mourinho - £8.37 million a year.
Wenger - £6.89 million a year.

I want Cavani. But Morata and a backup striker will be more realistic.

That will allow someone like Griezmann or Draxler to come in on the wing as well. We are too vulnerable to injuries to Theo. We need a dribbling attacker to compliment Theo as well as buying a top striker.
