Market forces dictate, can't pay you're way, you can't play.

Couldn't give a dangleberry what happens to Hearts. The Pieman ran a steady ship and they booted him for 30 pieces of silver, fk 'em!

Bit more to it than that methinks.

They were severely in hock to the bank and the only group who stepped up to buy Hearts ( and the debt) were Ukio Bankas.

Shady owner buys club with massive debt hanging over them.

aye, and good luck with the independence an all....

Couldn't organise a libation in a yeast and hops brewing facility...

Maybe not such a good against argument considering both Doncaster and Regan are English

Its time to adopt the german model, where the FA decide who much clubs can spend.

Thats gretna, rangers and now hearts that have all disappeared by spending money they didn't have in the pursuit of glory. Enough is enough.

Aye and naw timmy. Where as it seems some clubs need supervised because their short term vision for success means they put at risk an important social element of the community they exist. That said it is not the associations responsibility to be the nanny.
All associations are simply a combined representation of its member clubs.
Way I see it is where the associations would be better placed is simply making it clear that any club who puts themselves in jeopardy must deal with the consequences of such and have a clear set out process of the process regardless of which club it is. There cannot be this process for one club, another for an other etc etc.
This approach would make it clear to those running the club that effing up will likely be terminal and also make fans of clubs far more pragmatic when AGM time rolls around not to blow off warning signs or in some cases actual warnings given as to their long term position regardless of how successful they seem to be at the minute

That's not what happened to us mate. Pre judged guilt on the tax case was our issue

How long is it going to continue though?

It is not fair to those teams who actually run themselves properly.

Hearts were the victim of a crazy Russian. People need to drop this balance sheet cup mentality and realise it's football and at the end of the day hearts fans are people who like going to watch their team at the weekend.

They now face the reality of not being able to do that.

Instead of punishment we should be helping
