well because when we dont have the ball, the space in the opposition final third isnt condensed is it? the problems arise when we have the ball, not when the opposition have it

I suppose with your thinking Robben would be left out of the side because he won't stick to Bayern's right wing but each to their own

only normal that Young starts and is no way near as bad as the idiots on here make him out to be

Bayern have the ball for 75% of a match and the full backs play as the wingers, Buttner and Valencia are not going to spend 3/4 of the game in the opposition half are they to provide the width? Alaba in particular on Tuesday night was quite often the furthest Bayern player forward

id still rather Nani, he may be inconsistent and frustrating, but he is capable of match winning brilliance that none of our other wingers are capable of
