You mean £8m a year, which is £64m in total. Doesn't buy a lot of silver these days does it.

Unless I missed something, if this is the team spirit and mentality then quite frankly Wenger needs to do something drastic.

It was a nice scene in which a favoured striker is congratulating with his boss. We've all seen players' resigned smiles.

It's not an issue with team spirit; it's an issue with playing a completely unbalanced team with an attack bereft of width and pace.
Even when we were top of the league, you could see this coming when Walcott and Chamberlain were both out.

Chamberlain and/or Gnabry need to start every game for us from here on out. There are, of course, other flaws in the side, but the lack of pace in the final third is the biggest issue, IMO.
