... and once again it's Chris Hughton - sacked by Norwich City the day after Albion won 1-0 at Carrow Road, to go with his sacking by Newcastle United in December 2010 after the Magpies lost at The Hawthorns.

It's a ridiculous coincidence how many managers seem to get the push after losing to Albion. Norwich have definitely sacked Chris Hughton at the wrong time and placed too much to do on the shoulders of Neil Adams.
Alouion, no, it's not me sticking up for Chris Brunt, I'm not active on any other forum, but I would defend him to the hilt. Apart from being a good technical player of PL quality, he also takes his responsibilities seriously, and he has served Albion very well.

But back to the topic. I think if we can beat Spurs this weekend, Tim Sherwood's job might be in danger.

Yeah, let's go for two sackings in a row

Hey Aries
Have you got a list of recent 'sackings' following defeat against West Brom?
My prediction for the Norwich game after watching us surrender to Cardiff was:
"If anyone thinks we'll win at Norwich is smoking pot !
No chance" and they go and win !
So rather than tempt fate by changing prediction and being a little bit superstitious......
"If anyone thinks we'll beat Spurs is smoking pot !
No chance"

Mick McCarthy was of course sacked after we lost to you lot.
Let's face it guys any self respecting chairman is going to show his manager the door after enduring the humiliation of seeing his team beaten by a second rate outfit like yours.
Tim Sherwood is safe though, your chances of beating Spurs are zero, Nada, Rien, Naid, Null, Sifar, Nula, Niente, Cero, Cifra, Ziffer, 0.

He's quite right.
No chance of taking points off Spurs this season. Other than the one we got at White Hart Lane of course.

Even if we don't beat Spurs this week...we're still on course as things stand for our 5th consecutive season up here.
Unlike Wolves who after successive relegations prefer to be beating Dog and Duck teams where they have a reasonable chance of winning.

Chelsea are in the Champions League semi final. Yet we took points off them home and away this season.
And we're having our worst season in years.
Class above 👍

Baggie Man, I can't seem to find my old 'sacked in the morning' thread, but it's been a few now going back five or six years.

So does that makes Wolves a third-rate outfit? Third rate, third division. It's where you belong.
