Forest issued with winding-up petition

We've been fortunate at times to stay in touch, look at how long it took us to drop out of the playoffs this time. I understand you go on runs and have bad spells, I also acknowledge that injuries play a part and I personally raised them as reason for our recent poor form. But we didn't have many KEY players out in the first poor run did we? Plus it wasn't the fact that we was losing necessary in the second, it was the total lack of organisation and seemingly effort.

This is thing with Billy and just odd. If you don't hammer him for everything and say everything he did was bad then you love him. Or better still you've been brainwashed.

To be constantly in the top 4/5 in touch with top two is decent, to really struggle after losing the players we did is going to happen. I'd say the same for any manager if I liked him or not. Or if he would have been my choice or not.

I'm just fair and try and stay objective. Just because Billy wasn't my choice doesn't mean I can't be fair too him. I'll happily dig him out for the things he did wrong and I'm glad he's gone.

It's the same the other way around though, mate. If you dared to question him even when he was messing up you were told you were just a Billy hater, which implied your opinion didn't matter.

Billy split opinion. We both know there are those of us that won't or at least wouldn't have a bad word said about him and those that wouldn't say anything nice if we'd won 10-0 and he'd saved a baby from a house fire on his why home.

Because these sides were often battling it out. Those in the middle were normally lumped together with one side or the other.

Most people were in the middle realistically SHH with some that blindly worshiped him at one end and people who suggested he was the anti Christ and guilty of everything bad they could think of.

As much as I now think that those at the negative end were right about many thing I still say that the manner, and some of things that came up didn't help their case. If you pointed that out you immediately get pigeonholed in the pro camp.

Some things did concern me but as with most people you're willing to gloss over them because at the time results were OK, and to get shot then would have been wrong. Some fans (Forest and other clubs) still think it was harsh to get rid!!

Could be either depending who you was talking to, "Billy rimmer" was a common phrase in some places for the anti crew.

and you could argue that your Billy was cack at picking a team. Or you could argue that your Billy new how to stop a team from winning a match and of course you could argue that your Billy didn't really adore you ar§e licking fans who worshiped him as though he was the best thing since our Brian who us all those trophies.

Who is this aimed at Webbo? If it's aimed at me or Sutton then clearly you don't know anything about our opinions on Billy. If it was aimed at SBD then fair enough

Only Forest are stupid enough to employ Davies nearly as many times as they have winding-up petitions against them this year.
