Best performance of the season?

BTW the win at Newcastle was a bit of a shambles... We had no control of that game the whole first half. Could have turned out very differently....

We were totally in control of yesterday's game despite conceding first...

Sherwood said he was disappointed more goals weren't scored and I felt we should have been ahead at half time, on paper at least but how often have we seen this, namely good performances when it's too late? It's ok to be happy at a cleared ball which hits you and a poke in, a deflection and a tap in against the bottom club but I feel everybody is a tad over elated because a lot of attempts were missed. We still have striker deficiencies.

Hardly over elated mate I only made this article because there wasn't even one article acknowledging the good performance

I think another positive last night was Vlad. I know he made a terrible error for their goal which shouldn't be overlooked, but other than that I thought he looked absolute class.

If Kaboom could stay fit, I'd be more than happy to have those two as our main CB pairing.

I've lost count of the games this season where we conceded from stupid defensive errors or spanked absolute sitters.

It was all there to see again tonight but the chance creation was much better. Cant understand why Eriksen ever gets played anywhere else.

Bet Spurs are going to go on a run now and finish a close but frustrating fifth.

Thats not to be sniffed at, even a couple seasons ago we would've considered that a good season. Its just that the footballs been boring this year but we defo have the potential in the team to play more attractive football

Not to get carried away, Sunderland were bottom of the league after all. It was nice to see a greater level of committment from the players and the way they were pi$$ed off when disposessed or decisions did not go their way. More of the same please.
