Great comeback lads

We didn't deserve it though Igor, and the fact that we are now CLOSER to the playoffs than yesterday is proof that football is a completely random game. We'll probably win 1 game out of the last 5 and end up playing you lot the way things are going!

Was at the game.
Quick sum up
Started well and then became dreadful just as quickly then pretty even. Penalty I didn't think was one but didn't have the greatest of views. Mackie's goal was good but their 2nd goal was poor defending.
2nd half. Dire at the start and their 3rd was awful defending. Tudgay came on and actually added some attack up front as Hendo lost everything and was a well taken goal by him. When Collins got sent off though we burst into life and is the best I have seen us play since the Fester game and we could have even nicked it in the end. Great free kick by Pato.
Saw some players play awful though tonight.
Jara
Collins
Harding
Mackie and Peltier tried their hardest and the others were nothing to shout about til the final 15.
New plan for Saturday: play with 10 men and only have a 15 minute game

Would be tempted to start tudgay though on Saturday as it just seemed to actually click in attack when he came on.
Hopefully Wilson will be back to partner Lascelles and Fox has sorted his problems. Would actually have Halford for Jara as well.
need to win 4 out of the next 5 gents if we want to stand a chance

Derbyshire tried as well but was left isolated as Hendo couldn't stay on his feet.
Would say Derbyshire and Tudgay if we are going 4-4-2

id play pato, lansbury and majewski in a 4-2-3-1 formation with vaughan (is he back??) as a good DM to help your defence
but what do I know about your team haha

I thought Jara and Collins going off gave the team impetus as suddenly the ball was being played forward accurately with pace. They have had their chance and shown they are not up to it. The defence is so weak and unsure with Collins as captain and Jara is playing well within himself so as not to get injured and ruin his World Cup chances.
Tudgay shamed Henderson with his 15 minute cameo. More desire to win and hold the ball up and get into good positions as shown by his goal. Was streets ahead of Henderson and if he doesn't start on Saturday then it would be a travesty. Osborn also showed a few up with his willingness to attack the ball and try and make things happen. A bit more composure from Patterson and a fourth season-inspiring goal could've been forthcoming.
A good last ten minutes or so papered over 80 minutes of nervous indecisiveness, really. Brazil needs to stick with the team that finished the game if he wants to keep Forest in the hunt at QPR in Saturday.

Will fully agree with you. Made the 300+ mile round trip to the CG last night for he game.
The pointless use of the long ball was shocking and certainly upset most of the fans sitting in the BC Stand. Also quietened down the crowd. We wanted to get behind the team but every time we got the ball we just gave it away. Jara's distribution was shocking and playing long ball to Derbyshire is hopeless. Henderson had a woeful game and fell over every time he looked to be in a dangerous position.
However I also thought that Darlow kicking long all the time did not help. At the start of the season he would look for the short and roll the ball out. The team would not rush things but pass it around and take the time to draw out the opposition. It was only in the last 15 that we started to do that and suddenly we found our rhythm.
For me last night only Mackie, Lansbury and Patterson looked like they were up for it from the start. The defence looked very nervous and Harding is so negative with his decision making it kills any speed we have in the attack. Again only in the last 15 did he start looking to play it wide to Pato and allowing him to run at the defence.
If we can start, on Saturday, like we finished last night then we have a chance but we really need to see the team come out with the belief they can get something from the game.
oh and p.s. What a dreadful exhibition of refereeing especially for the Mackie booking where he was pushed in the back by one Wednesday player in to another and then he gets a yellow card - doh!
