Since the derby capitulation, Moyes' team have slowly progressed, holding Bayern while handing out hidings to Newcastle and Aston Villa
You are free to say "It's only Newcastle and Villa" but beating 14 other teams (except Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal) will give us 84 points which has been a league winning total in the past. Sure there will be slip ups but if we keep it down to just ten other points ..we get 74 points from the so called lesser teams. And say we scrape ten points against the big sides, we're in for a title challenge
The last few weeks have convinced me that Moyes needs time (and some cash in the transfer window)...he will build a sparkling side for next season, you'll see
And most of all if Evans and the new centre half we buy are injury free and we slot Jones/Smalling to Right back, I see a great season for us . Contrary to popular belief, our problem is based on being unable to field a settled defence week in week out.
Moyes growing into the role?

He needs to tell the big boys he's bigger than them before he builds anything.

I think we all agree that Moyes is ideal for the club. His extensive experience of mid-table football and his odd forays into the Europa League should prove invaluable to United over the next 5 seasons.
