As McDermott holds on tightly to the last vestages of power by his fat fingernails looking for Cellino to sack him to get his compo, should the fans be protesting against him, unfurling banners and chanting McDermott out or have we lost the passion when we blockaded Cellino in at Elland Road. The reason I ask is that normally managers leaving is precipitated by some form of protest. Surely doing nothing is akin to saying McDermott is ok.
Or is it a case of let the season finish before doing anything which is dangerous as we may have been relegated.
Ok time to slate me, but is just a thought which has been ruminating in the grey matter
MCDERMOTT OUT PROTEST AT ELLAND ROAD

Haha, I was reminded of those lovely days a few months ago. Had a nice ring to it I recall.
My view is that McDermott won't go until he's sacked, that'll be the advice he gets from the LMA otherwise he'll risk losing some or all of his contractual payment.
The fans will show their displeasure if the team turns in another abject toothless performance.
Protesting against Bates was never really on the cards, Bates held all of the aces and he knew it. GFH paying a premium for the club as it stood was the only way the crafty bugga would move on.
Leeds United fans still have passion, we need to show it more often. Elland Road used to be a cauldron of hate. Enforced seating and lacklustre teams have effectively diluted that.
Get the team playing for the shirt again and we'll see more passion from the stands.

I suspect that the mindset of at least some of the players is that the manager won't be here next season and probably neither will I. So I'll put in minimal effort for the rest of the season.
So I don't expect many more points this season nor better performances. Hopefully 47 points will be enough and there will be a large turnover of players in summer.
If I were BM I'd be regretting not staying away when I was originally sacked. And I'd be looking forward to my next job.

Jack
Problem for BM, is he is now damaged goods.
I don't think it be easy has you think for him to get a good job
Just look at Phil brown, went from prem to league 2 very quickly

LIW - Time will tell. Not convinced BM is damaged. Because of the circumstances, I would be surprised if his stock has fallen far.
Brown's journey into League 2 was via Preston, who were in the Championship at the time.

If you seriously believe that protesting for BM to leave, or giving him stick during the game, during a key match against a team whom, should we beat, would pretty much save us from relegation, then you're an idiot.
LIW says he respects everybody's opinion. I do also. It's just some people are wrong

You're not wrong there.

McD will get another job, people on the outside have followed what this club has done and thought "WTF"!..
He's done as well as he could with the Tin Pot Bankers ruining the show, the new boss said he wanted to talk with McD and find out how bad it really was!..
Don't sound like someone throwing the blame does it?..
He'll more then likely go but he'll go with what he's entittled to, and good luck to him, anyone that thinks he's alone in the crap Gfh has produced should think again, the players are just as much if not more to blame!..
Everybody screams clearout, well here's hoping that means the whole off the first team, because they were/are diabolical!..

No protests please as we now need to all pull together and steady the ship so can ensure that we are playing Championship football next season. We can review the manager situation when the season ends and we are safe! The best thing we can do is get at as many fans in as possible on Saturday and get behind everybody, become the 12th man to put Blackpool off their game and take the 3 points that we desperately need to more or less guarantee our survival.
