New Manager Quick!!!

Okay how can Arsene be pushed out?? Now Santi has started running his mouth I'm getting de-ja-vu the days of selling players questioning our 'ambition' and 'mentality' are back and it's always because of the man at the helm, yes Wenger. Let's face it the man has become a pure failure, a serial loser and I hate to speak like this of the great man but he is dragging the club down and just as we thought we were heading in the right direction we're set to default the problem we've faced throughout the last decade.

Ozil & Koscielney will be next to start sparking up other teams interest and knowing our gutless gaffer he'll happily recoup money off them and try and start a new project. Winning the cup and top 4 is an ABSOLUTE MUST now just to at least try and convince these players to stay but the problem is the club need Wenger out, he's become a poison at the club slowing us down, he let himself down in Jan and I have no sympathy for him because it's a repeated error that he's always made.

Klopp Vs Madrid last night was excellent, the man is losing half his squad but if you saw the highlights you'll realise they actually should have ended up through fantastic coach he is really dominated Madrid last night. He's very likeable character who his players will bust a gut for but most importantly he's very tactically strong. We need to get him in would also benefit our German contingent of course. 4th or 5th I think Martinez will still want to see things out with Everton so I'd rule him out as 1st choice.... we must instigate:

Klopp
Pep
Martinez
De Boer
Heyckness * (get him out of retirement)
Laudrup

We also may need a footballing director if Arsene or Dein don't go upstairs/return. Don't think we can rely on Gazidis much we do need more footballing men at the club.

I refuse to watch us return to those depressing days of selling stars 1 by 1 because they don't believe in our manager, Wenger will have to somehow have to be forced out if there's a hint of that and I'll play my part.

Love the man, love the club more

We wouldn't need transition at all. We're hardly an ageing squad, a new DM, RB, ST and our line-up is competent with anyone in Europe if we set up correctly.

This year Madrid are far away from Dortmund's level, for us Milan is a team we simply shouldn't be losing 4-0 to no way! Klopp has been handicapped by losing his top players to straight rivals and no not selling like our manager he's been helpless when losing these players. Dortmund actually have no right to have been as strong as they have the past few years but Klopp is a genius.

Arsenal should have achieved a lot more than we have the past few years not competing with Everton & Spurs so the fact that we're looking at similarities between Klopp and Arsene says it all.

Klopp > Arsene

Also Laudrup was unfortunate not to be given the funds he was promised at Swansea being in Europe with a squad so light was always going to wreck them. We all saw his talents and philosophies talented coach in need of resources....

Why should Arsenal have achieved a lot more, considering our completion has been the mega spending City, Chelsea and United.
Dortmund have every right to be as strong as they have, he second biggest club in Germany who have spent a lot in recent seasons, especially in comparison with the rest of their league.
If Arsenal lost players in the way Dortmund have you would be calling it mismanagement.

As for Laudrup, smashing the club transfer record is not being backed? He brought in a lot of players, many who flopped. David N'Gog

Why should Arsenal have achieved a lot more

-----------------------

So competing with Spurs and now Everton is where we should be at? Dortmund didn't buy top players they did well with their youth the likes of Hummels, Goetze, Kagawa etc.. sprung out of nowhere in fact can't think of any of their players from 2 years back that were big names beforehand, they emerged well and overtook the likes of Schalke, Bremen.

Smashing a record that was never really high doesn't mean he was considerably backed only got the 1 he wanted more numbers.... say what you want about him he's won a trophy more recently than your glorified Arsene !

Hummels was signed by Thomas Doll for starters.
For every Kagawa you have a Ramsey, for every Goetze you have a Fabregas.
Should we be battling with Everton and Spurs? Should Dortmund be battling with Schalke, Monchengladbach and Leverkusen miles behind Bayern?
Dortmund spent a fair amount of money to be miles behind Bayern.
It seems for everything you attack Wenger for you defend Klopp for the same.

If Klopp was the ambitious, top quality manager he is made out to be then he would have taken one of the many top jobs that have been on offer. He is comfortable in his throne, cruising without any real pressure, knowing he always has the Bayern excuse to fall back on.

Klopp is onto something good with Dortmund so no real reason to leave so soon maybe from this summer onwards he'll consider it more.

Dortmund do NOT have our resources Lewandowski is on 20k-a-week for goodness sake Bendtner is richer than him! Klopp took a side with potential to the final. Wenger hasn't done that since he had our greatest ever player around. Infact for a direct comparison look who finished above who in our group of death...

Case closed. Klopp > Wenger

2 seasons ago Arsene topped a group that Klopp finished bottom of. Case re-opened.
Also, head to head we won one lost one. The group was lost largely due to the PLs poor scheduling that saw us face City just hours after an away trip to Napoli. And don't forget that Dortmund were minutes from going out, whereas Arsenal were never in a situation where we would be eliminated.

Dj - you have been defending Wenger a lot of late. I get the assumption you would prefer him to be here next season?

That is because some of the accusations against him are ridiculous.
Would I prefer him to be here next season? For me supporting Arsenal has become a bit dull and anti-climaxal. Re energising the club is not a bad thing, and a summer of wonder about a new direction would make life more interesting.

We could be here next season with a "Moyes" situation on our hands, or we could have even moved forward with Wenger.

I look forward with a mixture of excitement, intrigue and fear, but never any hostility or hate towards Mr Wenger.

I accept we could end up in a Moyes situation but at the same time we could end up in a Rodgers situation however I think it's a risk worth taking, one thing with Wenger is we'll certainly stand still rather than progressing/regressing and with the emergence of other teams in the prem we can't afford to do that.

Wenger has already proved this year that he wont change his ways the Ozil signing was a one off and was never going to become the norm for our future spending. Wenger just doesn't know what is required in the prem Flamini pretty much accidentally joined us having just trained to up his fitness and that's what it took to make us realise how much we've missed someone who can actually throw in a tackle in our midfield.

Then Sanogo on a free who I like but was never going to save our season and Arsene admitted Yaya's presence stopped him from recruiting a striker he's still stuck in his mindset from 2008 and slowly but surely he may get left behind. Of course change is a scary thought but we have to face and accept this might be best.

It's annoying to know exactly how our season will unravel every single year due to Wenger's repeated mistakes. Fergie lost the league on goal difference then brought in RVP that's how a winner recovers mistakes. We missed RVP a lot last year and persisted with the useless striker we had up top and paid the price, that's what a loser or unambitious character does!

Must go

So Dortmund topped the group this season but you point to us topping the group 2 years ago and the use Wenger like excuses and logic to attempt to justify us finishing below them. Losing their best two players to direct rivals due to contracts and not by choice to a team who are arguably the best in the world, imagine the pyschological impact on the players still at the club. Schalke and Bayer are decent teams and even if you dismiss them consecutive titles against Bayern is better than Wenger even in his so called prime when he only had United to challenge. The gap between them and Bayern financially is roughly equal to the gap between Dortmund and ours so if them finishing 2nd behind is bad us finishing behind them in the Champions League is an absolute disgrace.
