Wigan manager Uwe Rosler has hinted that his team may replicate Everton's tactics in Saturday's FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal.
"I've studied him [Roberto Martinez] very much and wasn't surprised he found a tactic to cause Arsene Wenger problems. I was very impressed with how good Everton were at the beginning of the game without the ball - to break the rhythm, to deny them space, to counterattack quickly.
"I was also impressed by how disciplined they were. They got their rewards. It was good for a young manager to see."
So it looks like they'll try to press us high and frustrate us making Ox's inclusion even more important we need an outlet to be able to break at them. The trio of Santi, Rosicky & Poldi cannot take place in my opinion today otherwise we may be frustrated. Sanogo's in behind running will be important so I hope he starts!

I hope he does use the same tactics Everton used. The return of Ramsey makes them ineffective and Wenger will use a different style of play.

That tactic is mostly successful when we have no pace (bar Chelsea). Pace gives the opposition a different problem

When we don't move the ball quickly it's an issue, when you miss your top midfielders our play becomes more predictable and thus easier to counter us
