FIGHT NIGHT: Pacquiao vs Bradley II

The 8th wonder of the world, eight weight world champion Manny Pacquiao returns to the ring tonight in the much anticipated rematch with Tim Bradley.

Bradley who controversially won the first bout will a much improved fighter for this fight. He will be better prepared, step in to the ring being champion and carry the confidence of a champ, he will know Pacquiao's style and showed his warrior spirit and iron chin against Provodnikov and his slick skills and great tactics against Marquez. Bradley, all being well, should have too good legs to get him around the ring.

Pacquiao on the other hand may have lost some of his fire and may well be more cautious because of the KO he suffered at the hands of Marquez. In his last outing, Pacquiao put on a boxing masterclass, taking Brandon Rios to school winning every round in the process but, he didn't open up when he had Rios troubled a few times and never stepped on the gas and went for the kill.

He did however box 3 minutes of each round and showed great energy handspeed and footwork, 3 things that will be vital for a victory over Bradley.

Mark my words this will be a great fight, between two of premier fighters in the division and in boxing.

The winner of the bout can rightfully claim their spot on top of the P4P mountain.

Other fights tonigh:

Heavyweight action with Charr vs Johnson, very likely to be a borefest, Price continues his comeback against Pala which should be another quick KO for David.

Beltran vs Usmanee looks to be an intriguing contest with the winner likely to face Crawford next.

And Khabib Allakhverdiev and Jessie Vargas will slug it out for the WBA World light welterweight title in a bout that can got either way.

Some great action tonight.

Thoughts, predictions, who's staying up to watch them?

Pac is sadly past it, but he would still give floyd a good fight. If only Floyd hadn't ducked a prime Pac...

Pac should call it a day, fight a couple of B/C level fighters like Provodnikov and Alvarado, then call it a day.

Bradley should fight Porter next, Porter isn't with GBP.

Mayweather would beat Pacman with a bit to spare in a fight to the distance. Which is sad as the intensity and power is not there anymore for Pac as it was before. I still maintain the Pacquiao than beat Cotto would have been near unstoppable and I'm dead certain Floyd NEVER wanted to fight him at his prime despite the charade. Boxing is the loser here where we couldn't see the 2 greatest fighters of their generation go head-to-head. That's outrageous and against the spirit of "sports".

The sport really does need to evolve in the way it operates which gives too much power to the fighters and promoters. Something closer to the purity of amateur boxing.

Fack off Sheriff you clown you talk as much b ollox about boxing as you do in football. Just look at your cringeworthy article on the scousers board. If I ever saw you I would give you a facking hiding and re arrange your face. Also Mayweather signed to fight Pacquiao in 2009 your precious Pacman walked away from it to fight the mighty Clottey. Mayweather would have beaten him in 2009 or 2065. Doesnt matter when it takes place. Styles makes fights and thats why Pacquiao cant beat Marquez let alone Mayweather. You dont know what your talking about so stop making your opinion especially on boxing as a "fact". Pactards like you and D4 are brainwashed

Floyd ducked a prime Pacquiao for a period of 5 years, only fanboys will defend that.

Pacquiao is now operating at 70% but that still good enough to beat Fraud so expect the ducking to continue.

i was really impressed with paq - his quality showed up last night - the footwork was superb, and that's basically what beat bradley. I think paq's power's declined a bit, but he's still moving so good that it aparently gave bradley a calf injury as was evident by his performance declining in the final third of the match. Bradley started out great, but he's just more lumbering than paq, and seemed to succumb to his own mind games also.
