Good Luck, and a question.

Liverpool fan in peace guys.

It's a while away yet but good luck for the final. I watched the game yesterday and while I'm sure you'll admit it wasn't a vintage Arsenal performance, you can see what it meant to everyone to win the game, and I think this passion will stay with you till the final.

Just a question though. Would you guys be happy to see Wenger stay here for another year if he wins the F.A. Cup and secures 4th spot? I only ask because I've seen on various media outlets some fans want him out regardless, and I'm just curious to see what the general consensus is on these boards.

probably a bit more logical than most on here so for me 4th place and FA cup win is a magnificent season for us and personally hope wenger stays for many yrs to come as our finances improve to buy the big players -

------- fair play to BR for a brilliant season for your boys -

Yes we would want him to go out on a high. But most likely he will stay if we win FA cup and get top 4.

No for me, if we won the cup and came 4th he should call it a day.

He has done everything he can with this team and I truly believe times are changing.

Winning the cup would be a great way to out and be remembered. In many ways, fans would forget the last 8 years

No, he should leave regardless. Finish 4th and win the cup and he can leave with his head held high, he has taken us as far as he can and will ruin his legacy if he signs another contract.

If we get top 4 and the cup, I'd give him a one-year extension - but no more than that. It'd either give him a chance to really go for it in the transfer market and show the fans that he deserves to stay, or if he thinks he can't do it any more (which looks increasingly likely from his body language etc) it'd give the club time to take a thorough look into identifying and negotiating with a top manager for a replacement. If Wenger were to decide to leave between now and the start of next season, I don't think the club would properly have time to sort out a replacement and have them hit the ground running, especially since the World Cup cuts down the pre-season quite a lot.

Thank for the good wishes , and on behalf of right thinking gooners everywhere , I'd like to say our thought and prayers are with you as you remember the dreadful events at Hillsborough and the crimes that were committed against your great club ,and your great city . As for the question you ask ,I think Wenger should leave even if he wins the cup and gets fourth. management and the game have moved on ,and so should Arsene

Thanks for the replies guys! Nice one for your thoughts Dubliner, class that.

In my opinion (which seems to be shared by the majority of your fans if I'm not mistaken) is that Wengers had his time now and you need a young hungry manager of the Martinez/Klopp build.

You guys know your board and executives better than me, so do you think they'd be so bold as to sack him despite you being likely F.A cup holders and 4th place, or do you think he'd walk?

He will never be sacked but I just hop he realise at the end of the season that it's time to go.

He can't offer us any more
