This is an excuse people are using to defend the fact that they're top while we're fifth.
But isn't this evened out because they, supposedly, can't attract the sort of players we can by not being in the CL? That's the argument we keep hearing when people ask why it's so important to be in the top four...
I think there's a huge amount of bitterness here and overlooking of the facts: We've, on the whole, had a very shocking last few months, and full credit to Liverpool, if they win the league they very much deserve it. If them not being in Europe is the reason they've won it, why haven't a team like Newcastle or Southampton mounted a title challenge? Clear difference in class and some of you need to man up and recognise that.

Didn't Chelsea play in Europe on Wednesday night and then smacked Arsenal 6-0 at early kick off on Saturday.

It's not a fact.
You have generalised the whole of la liga as being easier and more accommodating, thus making it more able for teams to compete at home and abroad.
An extra 6-10 games makes no difference if:
A) you escape lots of injuries
And
B) you add to the squad with the extra money you get
The whole "mental" Carp that people are coming out with is just tagging on to the tired mind games of Maureen

It's only a problem if they lose!!

Where did I say it was easier? I said different. Two concepts that are not descriptive of the other.

Ok, different in what way?
They play a similar amount of games per season and I bet atletico have played a few more domestic cup games than us as we'll this year.
In fact, atletico are the PERFECT example as to why CL football will not cause us to suddenly tumble down the table.
The added draw it will bring will strengthen us and anyone who thinks otherwise, looks extremely bitter grasping those straws

Spot on OP
The levels of bitterness/jealousy among many Arsenal fans is an embarrassment. Liverpool are playing the best football in the League and doing it on far less of a budget than their title rivals. Showing what Arsenal COULD do if they weren't so rudderless.

Liverpool have a small blip towards the end of Q1/start of Q2. Where they just couldn't beat the lower teams.
Ever since then they have been immense! Arsenal were coping fine till their massive injury list hit at the start of Jan. It was always going to be an uphill battle to stay top then. Wenger could of topped the team up to cover this but chose not to.
We are where we because of Wenger. That is something Arsenal can chose to deal with at any time they like. But it should not take away from the fact that despite the many childish Liverpool fans that feel the need to come on here to spew their bile. We cannot applaud their teams efforts on the Park.
Everyone thought ManC were bankers after their massive unbeaten home run. Now I just don't see anyone stopping them on their run in!
