From what I saw it was all Maldonado.

Gutierrez never deviates from the racing line and Maldonado really should've known better than to go barrelling headfirst into the turn on cold tyres straight from the pitlane.

hi guys, I agree with both of you, he should have known better on "Cold" tires when the racing line was certainly crossing the end of the pit lane and in my (and your) view he should have had the sense to slow down going into the first corner knowing another car was there.

I dont want to go into the whole driver safety issue, there are 2 sides;
1 - the cars are designed to withstand such impacts and collisions as has been proven many times (Piquet 2008, Webber 2010, Guttierez 2014) so given Bahrain's turn 1 run off no one was significantly endangered given 2014's new regs
2 - Drivers should know that at 200+mph speeds that there is a risk at that they have an unwritten duty to protect every driver as best they can (a tradition that has been acknowledged since the late 70's)

I just haven't heard anything since, I don't know where you guys get the info from and I'd love to know where (no sarcasm), I'd just like to know what happens. This is a prime example of where the new penalty system needs to really flex it's muscles in my opinion.
