Moyes won't succeed at Man Utd

Anyone who thinks he will recover from this mess is labouring under an illusion.

Why?

Let's put aside the fact he's won nothing in his career to date.

Put aside the fact he's trying to convince players with decorated trophy cabinets and an array of medals that his methods can help continue that success.

Let's even put aside the fact he plays largely negative, cautious, risk free, laboured and slow football.

It's how he talks that tells me he won't cut it.

He thinks, talks and, heck, he even walks like a loser.

I first noticed this when he said Liverpool were favourites to win a fixture at Old Trafford.Whether this was mind games or not is irrelevant. Brendan Rodgers duly pointed out he would never say the same for Liverpool. Fergie would never have made such a horrible error of judgment.

Then saying that United aspired to City's level.

Then saying United had put up a good fight against the Champions of Europe.

All these comments smack of a losers mentality. Defeatist. Small club minded.

You won't win anything thinking like that.

The way United play is reflective of Moyes' personalty. Negative and cautious.

And this won't change.

Discuss.

Forget the performances, forget his ineptness, forget his negative football, hell forget he has taken us from 1st to 7th......... if Manchester United was owned by true fan who knows the history and traditions of Manchester United, they would've sacked David moyes after his comments regarding City and Liverpool. There is being brutally honest, then there is being just stupid and not knowing what to say say and where to say it. Which is a theme with this guy, he really is lost. I reckon he sits in Fergie's office and wonders wtf am I doing here.

Maybe he needs a joey walk

He won't succeed. And you're right. His inherently begative demeanour transfers itself to the guys on the pitch.

I just miss the fast paced jaw dropping football we played last season

I just miss going into big games knowing that there is the slightest chance we will win.

Liverpool LL
City LL
Chelsea DL
Everton L
Arsenal WD
Spurs DL
Southampton D
Newcastle LW

That's our record. Let's not make excuses. It is totally and utterly unacceptable. He can smile and laugh and tell us he's under no pressure all he likes but he bloody well should be.

Whats unture

A couple of examples

It's Moyes fault that Rio is old
Moyes plays Mata as a winger
Moyes plays kagawa as a winger
Moyes spent 70million and look what happened - Mata was never gonna gel with the team in the first couple of weeks ffs and Fellaini has been injured for most of the season
Moyes has no future vision
Moyes shouldn't be trusted with a transfer budget
United played great football before Moyes turned us pedestrian

I don't think Moyes is the right man anymore, but that doesn't mean any of the above is true

Still, I'm sticking with Sir Alex on this for the time being

He knows more than the rest of us put together and then some. I trust him to make the right call when it's right to do so in his mind
