Brave Cove suffer 2-0 defeat!

As I'm sure many of the die hard Cove Rangers fans on here will already know, we fell to a tight and undeserved 2-0 defeat to the mighty 'Scottish Barca' Buckie Thistle.

In a tight match at Victoria Park, Buckie, the capacity attendance of 11 men, 3 tourists, 6 local primary school children, 3 dogs, 15 rats, a cat (possibly belonging to RussianSpurs) and Harry Redknapp. Cove were unlucky not to come away with a point in a match which ebbed and flowed with the precision of a drunk, blind surgeon.

Cove MOTM Neil Cruickshank is believed to be the player Harry Redknapp is believed to have been scouting and after watching the pacy full back, only had praise. "The lad has a terrific name and I'd love to get it printed on my new purple away kit" said Redknapp. When asked if he was interested in signing Cruickshank before the deadline, he gave a strange, long and uninterpretable answer. "He is a quality player who we might be interested in, but I don't know what the chairman is doing on that deal, he works on all the transfers, but if I had my guess as much as I want him, I don't think we'll get him. Cove are looking £500 and 2 pairs of Tommy Hudds shirts to use as tents and I think thats too much.
