GET OFF SANOGO'S BACK THE LOT OF YA!!!

The past couple of days Sanogo has been torn to shreds by ungrateful disgraceful supporters (majority Giroud fanboys) but one thing that I 110% guarantee is that had Giroud started we won't be looking forward to an FA cup final, I can promise you that Giroud has gone out of his way to prove that he can't turn up in the big games infact we play with 10 Vs 12 because the opposition press us all the way to the half-way line they know he's that ineffective. Every defender at a top team this season has had Giroud for breakfast, guy couldn't do anything even against Demichelis who's been on a mission to ruin City's season.

Sanogo has the touch of an RVP yes it's clear to see, he's also not the most clinical but he certainly gives the defenders a problem or something to think about, don't forget he made his debut about 2 months ago after returning from a long injury and is 20 years old!!!! 2 mins in on saturday and he could have put us a goal up with a header, we never get into big games so quickly because Giroud is somewhere on half-way line moaning at the ref losing possession. Sanogo also has character, after missing time and time again, did he ever hide? Did he start rolling around? Did he start feigning injury? Not once kept going and going and made Carson busy.

He's link up play is also positive I think Ox likes playing with him and Ramsey also benefitted on saturday. He always gets busy in the box don't forget his assist for Gibbs' header. Have people forgot he bullied the potential title winning defenders earlier too the mean man Skrtel was given a problem from Sanogo, can never say that for Giroud. Then the Munich game when he made a huge impact, testing Neuer early on. He gets us off to positive starts where Giroud doesn't and the fact that both strikers are as useful/useless as eachother with Yaya being 7/8 years younger speaks volumes Sanogo can and will get better.

Next season he will benefit off capital one cup games and Europa League (if it comes to that) and it's a matter of him getting his first goal I reckon he has good spirit and he'll get somewhere in his career I believe. From now till the end of the season I'd actually let him spearhead the attack to be honest we look more dynamic and just a bit more pacy . Lukaku & Benteke also have horrendous touches but since being utilised correctly both have been beats in the league, Sanogo can emulate their successes at best.

Yaya is the best of a bad bunch so if you're angry that he's starting blame you know who rather than the kid himself, he's been trying and doesn't hide!

How did I miss this gem?

"Everton, United, City, Chelsea, Liverpool are all games Giroud has played the biggest part in losing for us"

United I can maybe let you have, cause it was a 1-0, even though the whole team played pretty crap.

But the others Conceding 3, 5, 6, and 6 and you're blaming the striker .

To clarify there, yeah, he played pretty terribly in all of those games, but to say 'biggest part in losing' just makes a huge excuse for our shocking defending. Making Giroud the scapegoat doesn't only affect him, but it also means the rest of our team get away with a lot of shít!

Sanogo still looks very rough around the edges but I see a fair amount of promise in him, reminds me of a younger Adebayor before he had his 30-goal season. Makes good runs to stretch defences, but also adept at holding the ball up and winning scrapping for aerial ball, definitely better in this regard than Giroud. He's definitely not a 1st choice, but let's give him more time before making any sweeping judgements.

My only defence for Giroud is that all his goals come against the 'lower' teams so perhaps he'll be good to start Vs Hull in the final...

I like Sanogo, on another day he would of scored with his chance near the start Vs Wigan...still very raw and needs a few years before we can judge him

I thought he was ok - can only improve, some good some bad - but he's a young lad. Can get physically stronger. For me Giroud was more worried about his ridiculous hairstyle!

It's not the guy's faults that he is not ready for this level of football. He doesn't pick the team !

Like the two goals he scored in the Quarters that secured our passage into the semis?
------------------------
We were already up and the Everton's high push for an equaliser gave him a massive chance to take advantage of, if he started that game, completely different story.

As bad as our defence have been in those games we've had nothing going forward in those games, if you have a forward that can nick you something against the run of play you unsettle the opposition and always give yourself a chance.

In this case we have nothing going forward so if we ever go a goal down this donkey will guarantee that it's game over cos we can't respond. All the big games have various goals in them regardless of the defence it's just about responding to what you concede (see LivVSCity). Our game Vs City away was the perfect example Theo got us back in the game then when pegged back Giroud had a chance to get a hat-trick he missed em all. He's presence for me has played the biggest part in our thrashings this season, can't play good teams with 10 men

My only defence for Giroud is that all his goals come against the 'lower' teams so perhaps he'll be good to start Vs Hull in the final...

Nope because it's still a big game, massive game in fact hope he'll be sure to play hide and seek at Wembley

I fear at worst heskey like or at best
demba ba class
---------------------
Heskey?? Don't be silly even flops like Loldado and Carroll didn't get that bad. Heskey's are once in a blue moon Torres currently holds that mantle.
Demba Ba however isn't a bad suggestion if he's good enough to score a goal to put us into a CL semi I'll say he's come good Ba is a pretty decent 3rd choice to have if you ask me!

Sanogo is younger and better than Adebayor was when he joined, can see a lot of potential in him. Either way it's stupid to write off a youngster in a new league, new country who's still settling in who's only played a handful of games.
