I have some sympathy for them. Ticket prices generally are far too high - specially for away support. Though our ticket prices for home fans are as good value as it gets IMO, and I doubt that we are the worst for away fans either.

But if you want to protest just don't come - the banner is daft.

Season tickets are good value certainly but if you want tickets for individual games they are as expensive as away fans pay

People watching on TV will just see a load of empty seats and not know why. If you want to make a protest it's a good idea for people to know what you are protesting about. Hence the banner

Away ticket prices need looking at, working class fans are now priced out of going to games.

The stewards won't let the banner in the ground though.

So pretty pointless. Apparent there have been 300 sold. Think it would of been better had not a single person gone. I guess some of the 'die hards' will go no matter what.

That will always be the case, though it's hard to knock someone who pays an extortionate price to follow their club for a game like this.

Not knocking them. Fair play to them.

But now you'll just see little pockets and specs of WBA fans on the telly, oppose to no fans whatsoever.

Unaware viewers will probably just assume is shît support lol.

Probably, we boycotted Wigan about 10 years ago because of ticket prices and the BBC made out our fans weren't interested in the team anymore because it was a dead-rubber game.
