The Bantams V The Posh

Peterborough visit Bradford on Friday night looking for the win that should clinch them that final play off spot.

Sir Kenneth Bates, no less, will be there to support the Posh.

A winnable away game.

Our defence and midfield have improved dramatically, as a result of moving players around. It's now time for our attack to start scoring goals aplenty in readiness for those play offs.

3-0 to the Posh?

UTP, regardless!

P.S. Don, good luck against Coventry. Hope you overtake MK.

"Both of our teams needing the three points should make it an interesting encounter."

Draw specialists against the teams with the fewest number of draws! Doesn't really help in making a prediction.

Well that will make Easter Monday interesting.

Yes indeed, Easter Monday will be interesting.

A disappointing result, especially as our second half performance with 10 men merited a draw. Our first half passing performance, though, was poor.

With Swindon winning, our home game against Carlisle becomes a very near must-win.

Posh really struggled tonight making so many basic errors. The number of times number 5 would try play a simple ball forward and give it straight to Bradford was unbelievable.

As mentioned above, Posh were better with 10 men, having a particularly good spell first 20 mins of the 2nd half. Bradford eventually started to take control back of the game again before a decent last few minutes from Posh.

Cracking free-kick to be fair.

Thanks for your summary, SirKen. Unfortunately, our No. 5, Jack Baldwin, more often than not puts performances like that in, which is why I prefer Ben Nugent. Similarly, our No. 7 Joe Newell put in yet another sloppy performance. Sadly, Fergie puts too much faith in that player. The Bradford goal was top-drawer, and ultimately sunk us.

"Sadly, Fergie puts too much faith in that player."

That's exactly what my mate said last night.

Just looked at the table and the difference in defeats between you and the rest of the playoff teams is astonishing, same with goal difference. One things for sure, every team still has something to play for, yourselves to secure top 6, and the other 3 will be trying to finish as high as possible to get home advantage.

SirKen. Thanks for attending the game.

If we do make it to the Championship, we'll have to do a Crystal Palace to stay up.

Unfortunately, Darren Ferguson is no Tony Pulis. When interviewed by Radio Cambridge, Ferguson said that he would include Lloyd Isgrove in the starting line-up against Carlisle. Better late doing so than never I suppose.

I hope he keeps his word. It makes no sense at all that Isgrove hasn't had the chance to start a game. Hope he seizes the day.
