I really liked the part when Pearce is talking about how Clough would always tell the team that the weather conditions were always in Forest's favor regardless of what they were. .
Great listen and if this interview is any indication of how Pearce will be in post match press conferences as Forest boss, I'd guess they'd be a bit more entertaining than Billy's. Just listening to him talk gives me a lot of confidence in the future.

Great listen. Gives a real insight into the aspects of his personality. He's sounds very thorough and very funny at times. Very knowledgable as well.
Be nice to have some goodwill from the media.

I wonder if he had the interview recorded on secret cameras...?
It comes to something when just having the manager come across as 'sane' in interviews is a source of relief... good riddance to King Billy, eh?

Bet there are a few in the dressing room at Forest who aren't looking forward to the arrival of Pearce. The shirkers and the faint hearted will be found out!

The interviewer knows f'all about forest.. He was surprised that Pearce got 76 caps whilst playing for Forest and thinks Lansbury and Lascelles are our only players. I could never see Lascelles in the mould of Pearce. Lansbury could be.
Will be an interesting summer as Pearce looks like he'll be hunting for a striker.

Humour can be a great motivator and confidence/team building tool if it's used properly. Yes it was an impressive interview, especially BC's team talks 'the conditions are ideal for us today' made me howl!

I think some of you might be misjudging the new manager. I think everybody will be given a fair chance and start with a clean sheet. There are some whose contracts have expired and either wont be offered a new contract (Miller) and others who might not like the new terms they are being offered (Derbyshire).
Every one else will have the same starting point but be left in no doubt what is expected of them and without having to threaten will be told what happens if they don't meet expectations. On the training ground I expect him to be calm and considered. Only when sending the team out for the kick off and at half time might he allow the passion out.

Simple.
Should name a stand after him right now IMO!!!
