Odd that it's so one-sided. Tottenham were only the 5th best team in England which means they're on a par with about St. Mirren in the SPL. Hearts could be in for a relegation battle if they can't even compete with a team like Spurs.

Not my finest ever prediction(!). I'm still amazed by how poor Hearts were.

I don't think for a second it was a measure of the gulf between the two leagues, more the fact that Hearts are already looking like a shadow of the team they were last season.

I think their problem was, instead of playing intimidating, hard Scottish football, they tried to play with flare. They wont survive in their own league like that so they certainly wont beat Spurs at their own game in that way.

Without being big-headed, look at the players Spurs have, Vdv, Lennon, Bale, Kranjcar, Defoe - Hearts didnt stand a chance with them tactics.

True enough. It was really disappointing to see them failing to press, not even putting in tackles. Their only chance was to play high up the pitch and get in Spurs' faces, like they did briefly in the second half.

Well atleast they tried to play football on the ground, it was a better spectacle than watching Rangers play for example. Could have been 9-0 with the chances Spurs had.
