Tonight, live on ITV 4 from the Emirates Stadium 19:45ko , Arsenal and Chelsea go head to head in the second leg of the FA Youth Cup semi final.
FIRST LEG
Chelsea 2
Colkett (59) Kiwomya(67) -
Arsenal 1
Akpom (56)
Chelsea came from behind to take a one goal advantage into the second leg. Akpom, from a pass by the impressive Maitland-Niles, opened the scoring. However Gedion Zelalem was having a nightmare in midfield, and he was caught in possession for the umpteenth time just 3 minutes after the goal, leading to Chelsea's equalizer. After a bit of a scramble, Colkett shot past Josh Vickers to make it 1-1. The decisive moment came when the nephew of Arsenal legend Chris Kiwomya, Alex, acrobatically finished after Vickers made a decent save.
Arsenals man of the match was the keeper, Vickers. Chelsea, after dominating midfield throughout, had many candidates, although Ruben Loftus-Cheek was arguably the main man.
Tonights team
Vickers should start in goal. The back 4 is likely to be Tafari Moore at right back, Julio Plezueguelo and Leander Siemann in the centre and Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill at left back.
The big choice in midfield will be whether to stick with Gedion Zelalem or go with Jack Jebb. Whoever is picked is likely to partner Glen Kamara.
The attacking 3 looks likely to be the impressive Dan Crowley, flanked by Alex Iwobi and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Up front Chuba Akpom takes time out from sitting on the first team bench to lead the line. Austin Lipman would be the alternative.

DJ can't help but slate poor Zelalem.

Cannot hide away from what happened. If he plays well tonight I will be delighted. Hopefully he will turn out world class, but I cannot lie about his performances.

Who's the brighter prospect out of Zelalem and Crowley?

Zelalem has already got first team recognition, but Crowley has performed better this season...

TBF it is more the Arsenal coaching staff hyping Zelalem. The media didn't give Zelalem a chance in pre-season, nor did the media give him first team opportunities during the season.

Crowley starting on the bench tonight

Does that mean Zelalem is stinking up the place in ACM then?
