Yet Another Plastic Dopey Chelsea Fan

We have a new lad, Michael, working in our company, and today at lunch I spoke to him for the first time.

This is roughly how it went....

Me – Alright Michael how you settling in?

Mike – Good thanks, been busy but its been good, the girls keep talking about clothes and make-up and hair and stuff though

Me – OK buddy, yeah they tend to do that, you like football?

Mike – Yeah

Me –Oh ok, who is your team?

Mike – Havent you seen my Skype picture?

Me – No, I haven’t added you on Skype yet.

Mike – oh, I support Chelsea

Me – Oh, that’s a shame, I am a Spurs man, what do you reckon about Chelsea this year?

Mike – we are doing ok

Me – And what about the champions league? Who you reckon will win it?

Mike – I don’t really like the Champions league – ()

Me – oh right, why is that then? If it because you have been in it so often?

Mike – No, itsbecause there are all these teams that you have never heard of. Like I know all the big teams like Bayern Munich, but then you get new teams you have never heard of like some random German teams and some random French sides and that.

Me – (trying to hide my amusement) Oh I see. So anyway, how do you think Chelsea will do this weekend?

Mike – not sure, who are we playing?
