NASCAR vs Formula 1 drivers

Which drivers do you think are more talented? Which is a more difficult event? Can a NASCAR driver hack it in F1 and vice versa?

Do people often die/ get seriously injured in NASCAR? It seems very dangerous.

Which is more difficult? Tough to say one requires more technical driving ability the other requires concentration and serious balls.

F1 is better than NASCAR, there is no comparison

From a danger point of view there is nothing in it.

From a difficulty point of view one is carried out on circuits that have turns on it where you have to turn corners at speed, the other is driving round an oval track at a constant speed turning left only.

From a spectator view point one has overtaking done on corners and chicanes the other is driving round in a circle for three hours.

F1 also races in the wet, the other one does not.

VC is spot on. Drivers have to be much more skilled in F1, watching a car go around an oval track is boring as well. I mean, if there weren't any crashes would anyone watch it?

Oudh

When I go into a bar and Nascar is on you will see the locals with their Nascar shirts and jackets on playing the golf machine. They only watch the race If their is a crash or it is the last 10 laps.

F1 has many cars trying to over take each other at 150mph+ too, but on many varying turns and bends.

F1 is the sport that requires more 'skill'

NASCAR
F1

No comparison really. Also Touring car racing is better than Nascar Imho

Nascar is basically touring cars without corners so of course TC is better and F1 is a more high tech version of touring cars.

Their is a reason why F1 is seen as the pinnacle and why NASCAR is only watched by red necks

Now that Lewis is in a decent car my interest in F1 is flying high .
