Mourinho

Here's what Jose Mourinho had to say in his post-match news conference: "I will not wait for your questions, but in quick four points I can say what I want to say. You can ask me what you want but I will answer exactly the same way.

"The first point is to congratulate my players. They did everything they could, they fought from the first to last minute. We praise players after victory and I think it's fair to praise my players after a defeat.

"Secondly, congratulations to Sunderland. It doesn't matter how, or in which way, they won but they won. I think it's also fair to congratulate them.

"Third point, I want to congratulate again. This time Mike Dean. His performance was unbelievable and when referees have unbelievable performances it's fair to congratulate them. He came here with one objective, the objective to make a fantastic performance and he did that.

"Congratulations to Mike Riley, because he is the referees' boss, and what they're doing all season is fantastic, especially in the last few months, especially for the teams involved in the title race, and I also congratulate Mike Riley."

Rodgers was fined for questioning the integrity of one referee, Mourinho has just questioned the integrity of all the league's referees.

Over to you FA. Or are you going to show no consistency, yet again.

No, an accurate reflexion on his pantomime appearance in front of the Press actually. If you are a supporter of Chelsea Football Club, are you not a teensy weensy bit embarrassed by Maureen's antics? If that were Brendan Rogers, I would disown him.

There's no other word for Maureen, and I have to say, Arsne got it spot on. An embarrassment. Not only to himself, but also to his club. As for his assistant, embarrassment isn't the word. Thug would be more appropriate. When people in that position behave in the way that that very important person behaved, one question springs to mind. Who appointed him? I think we would be told. If he isn't fined (as well as Maureen should be) heavily by his club, then what little respect I have for Chelsea goes sailing out the window.

If Brendan Rogers performed - it wasn't behaved, it was performed - I would expect my club to come down heavily on him and put him in his place. Maureen is definitely getting above his pay scale. He'll be speaking with a Jock accent next!!

I can't but agree 100% on your analyses and conclusions. Well said.

Make it all about himself, try to deflect criticism of his players and create a faux sense of injustice amongst them. He is also trying to put the ref under pressure for our game tomorrow.

Typical premeditated classless twattishness, from the ye gouger. His assistants behaviour on the sidelines was utterly pathetic as well.

PPD, his assistants behaviour on the sidelines wasn't pathetic: it was criminal. He clearly wanted to physically attack the the ref. Lets see what Chelsea do with him, if anything. His own manager is out of control, believing he can do or say anything: he is Rudolph incarnate.

After all the years of media spin in mourinho's favour it's good to see him and his coach exposed for their behaviour.

No downwith, it isn't their behaviour, it's their class. Or, my importantly, their lack of it. It's sad to say it but the words, "Chelsea" and "Yob" seem to be good bedfellows.

He can't be fined. He congratulated the referees. Even though it's plainly obvious what his aim was there's no way he can be punished

He didn't say anything negative.

They can't touch him.

"We have had instances lately, and on this occasion it is Mourinho's name that appears again, that on the few occasions Chelsea lose a football match there is a conspiracy theory - it is the referee's fault."
