Danny Welbeck

Tottenham are weighing up a £20million summer move for Danny Welbeck.

The England striker has two years left on his current deal at Manchester United and Spurs sources believe the Old Trafford club could be willing to do business.

Spurs are determined to sign a top-level striker with Premier League experience – and Welbeck is top of their list.

So, how pist off would you be if we signed Welbeck?

5 - kicking the easter bunny down the street
4 - smashing random easter eggs in shops
3 - lobbing creme eggs at Levy
2 - screaming "screw you easter" at SSN
1 - crying in a heap on the floor, I'm done with football

I'd be all 1 thru 5 if Welbuck came here.
Only worse thing would be Moyes coming with him

Ted

sandrobeast.. we've got enough headless chickens in wide positions clogging up the squad, hes not a striker that could or should be leading the line for us imo

I would do all 1 to 5 I just dont know what order yet

Welbeck is not good enough for the PL so why on Earth would he be good enough to come to a club trying to get into the CL?

We have Harry Kane as a young striker, he will do fine, if we spend on a striker then it has to be someone proven, not Wellbeck

I would take him.

He's fast, can hold the ball up, can take players on and he scores.

What's not to like?

Always does well for England.

As I said on another thread I think the stat on the radio was one goal scored in his last 31 games for club and country.

That somewhat contradicts your view in a big way

Unless we got a good price for him...

He's got a pretty good goal-game ratio when played upfront, last season I think it was 0.75. In fairness though that was against 'lesser' teams. I am hoping he will slowly take over from RVP.

If you play him on the wing though he will rarely ever score!
