Money can't buy silver

Liverpool have shown why we need a new manager despite the win today I have not seen anything that allows another season with current manager. Firstly, Liverpool have been transformed from also runs to one of the best teams in the league if not the best and that's down to the style they have adapted under Brendan Rodgers.

Unlike our risky tippy tappy football that only works against the likes of Hull, they have balance in their game and will press in droves when losing possession and they pass to the man in space not fancy predictable triangles under Wenger which gets deflated as soon as his team losses possession.

They either don't work as a team due to managers risky predictable style, or their confidence gets shuttered which was the case when we capitulated those games against top sides or can't beat poor sides like United.

I think we need a manager who understands how to motivate Arsenal to be up for every game not when it suits them and Wenger's time is up am afraid.

This season was full of promise and we just have to win FA cup and leak our wounds but, come next season, we MUST buy at least three WC players in forward position, DM and winger or AM and also a back up goalie and another defender anything less and we have to question the entire Arsenal project especially that passionless board compared to FSG Liverpool led board, I too wonder what they are smoking in our boardroom no passion nor do we have faith in the whole project and the manager looks deflated and tired, major overhaul nothing less required.

Haven't Liverpool spent the 3rd most amount of cash in the PL after Chelsea and City?

--------

Maybe overall in the past 10 years but Rodger's team didn't cost much more than arsenals

Miss Brenda also didnt have to play European games like the rest of us. If you cant see thats the reason why they are up there then you can jump off a cliff and do the world a favour.

All I'm reading is excuses. You could also argue that finishing 7th meant that they were out of the running for the best players as well. Rodgers has transformed a Europa league hopeful to probable title winners without oil money.

That's true, Arshavin's Mistress. Rodgers is doing a great job. But reasons and excuses are not the same thing. There are lots of differences between Liverpool's circumstances and Arsenal's and to ignore them just so that you can make an oversimplified point that suits your agenda - especially after a big and important win - kinda makes the OP and some others seen a bit um... what can I say... childish?

Childish.

That's the understatement of the day....

I've heard less whining from spoiled 6 year olds who have been told there's no ice cream.

As opinions go, I'd say the OPs are utterly pathetic dross, the product of a limited mind and an uncontrollable urge to be an idiot.

Pretty common hereabouts.

What gets me is so called Gooners slàgging Wenger.

If you want him gone that's fine but to be rude is disrespectful to a man who has won us trophies, helped stable the ship when we moved to a new, financially crippling stadium and kept us top 4 always...

Show respect if you want Wenger gone....

Wenger will step down after Arsenal win the FA Cup, leave on a high.

Wenger loves the club and he knows him leaving is the best thing for the club to move forward.
