Eric Cantona has expressed his interest in taking the reins at United, where he was an integral part of the side that brought the first title to the club for 26 years. He has a winning mentality, and could be a good option.
Club officials have not ruled the Frenchman out of the running.
People can pick apart the reasons for United's abject displays this season, and attempt to sieve out which factors were as a result of the appointment of Moyes; but the truth is that sometimes you need someone with a bit of magic. A bit of flair.
To use Eric's native tongue: that "je ne sais quoi".
Perhaps he is the man to resuscitate the club?

One thing is for sure, he wouldn't be afraid to sub Van Persie in case some of the fans and media didn't like it.
And he wouldn't be aspiring to be like Man City.
Or making Liverpool favouritess when they visit Old Trafford

You know what, King Eric would get my full support if we did give it him, but no way in hell will we. I'd want to see him take charge of u18's to u21's for 4 or 5 years first though. People forget Guardiola had never managed a full open age team before Barca, and that went well.
