18th century football?
Flipping hell with the amount of money we have spent on the squad.....
What was that?

I'm happy with it. Barcelona went there to play football and lost 1-0. We have our best attacking player injured. No point losing the tie before we even reach the second leg.

Results that count, will be vindicated or otherwise next week at the Bridge.

Was it pretty? No.
Was it what you do in the away leg of a CL semi-final, if you want the best chance of seeing the final? Yes.
Get em back to the Bridge, and sort it out there.

this is just boring me greatly. Hate how we have played in a lot of games this season.

People need to wake up and smell the coffee. This is just sht football. Fair play if we win but its boring football. This semi final has just passed me by. I wont remember it tomorrow morning.

I've given up expecting much from the quality side of things when it comes to watching Chelsea play now.
If we have to put up with this crap next season as well you'd have to wonder how Mourinho is really making us into the "superpower" he claims.
I remember he said at the start of the season that he wants us to move away from the deep defensive line that characterised our Champions league win.... I guess that was all talk.

So having 1star player injured means u have to play like that?

Having got this close to our 3rd final in 7years it would be stupid to throw it all away by risking everything against a team that lets be fair created very Little and it is their incentive as the home team in their scary (cough ) atmosphere. PSG were way better than that athletico team to be fair. 3-1 Down we were felling very scepticle going to the second leg. Now we are 0-0 with second leg at home and hopefully Hazard and Ivan back. Feeling a lot more positive about a 3rd final now but still have to score.

I will give Mourinho the benefit of the doubt this season in terms of football overall. However, if we continue to play like we have in games against Swansea, Sunderland and way to many others to count, then it is certainly not good enough.
Tonight's performance itself isn't the complete issue, I understand it, even if I am not completely happy with it. It is all the games throughout the season where we have looked lethargic and not even close to being bothered.

I wish we could attack , I miss looking at the other side of the TV.
