So recently the Daily Mirror has came out with a story about the club giving Rodger's '£60 million' to spent in the summer, with any money made from sales adding onto that. BBC are also producing some quotes from Ayre backing a big transfer window.

Now looking at the big transfers we missed out on last summer, it was clear we were going for the right players. Mkhitaryan, Willian and especially Costa have all been fairly impressive this year, and all would have improved us.

It was one of Miki, Willian, Costa or Kopl I'd say though, it was the same funds being used for any one of these players we went for, we would only have gotten one of them last summer, like had we signed Miki I doubt we'd have registered interest in any of the others.
