What happens next?

Been away since very early yesterday morning and have been away from radio/tv for most of the time. Having read a few of the posts on this forum since back tonight, it appears there is a consensus of opinion that it will be Van Gaal as the next man in. If this is indeed true, when can they appoint/name him, and realistically what are your thoughts as to how it will work in practical terms between now and the end of the World Cup (or at least Dutch elimination)? How much control/input can LVG have whilst he is still the Dutch Coach, and are we likely to have a lot less activity this summer as some of us thought over the last few weeks?
