Im guessing the mask is to mimic high altitude training or, he is in fact a huge Bane fan. Personally I cant see him making the World cup as its just too much of a long shot.
Double edged sword this one. If he makes the cup then he will be on cloud nine and regardless of how Costa Rica do, he will feel he has won. We then get a very happy player going in to the new season. On the other hand, he goes to the cup and gets injured or doesn't make the cup at all and we have a player feeling down.
