Is going to doncaster on a 1 month loan and expects to be involved in their next game.

I know we have just signed this young fella from Chelsea, but what about going for Jon Parkin who has tweeted that he is not happy not getting into the Cardiff side.
He would certainly add weight and height to our forward line.

Would add weight for sure. Would be a Brownie replacement, personally prefer Vine and we screwed him over with the entire preseason trial. Would sooner get Neil "Fat Steven Gerrard" Mellor. But think is a keeper we needs the most.

DRFC4Life Agree I Mellor is our sort of player always seems available to receive the ball, makes space for himself, scores plenty as well. But totaly agree Keeper is the top priority

we wont sign another keeper cant afford one.we should put sully in he cant be any worse than woods and may give the back four a bit more confidence although they have looked ok so far.as for signing mellor it we need to sign someone in form now and we keep coming back to one name 2 "le fondre" wether he could do it in this league im not sure but is worth a try if we are to spend money on a transfer fee

Does anyone know the state of play regarding Rachid Bouhenna, the last I heard Rovers were awaiting international clearance. I was most impressed with the understanding he seemed to have formed with Friend in defence, in the pre-season games I saw, and maybe he would be better than Naylor who I understand cant manage a full 90 minutes easily. Is he going to be another player on the Rovers books who spends more time out on loan at other clubs, just like Fairhurst did

Heard on RS last night that Rotherham turned down a 2nd player plus cash bid for Le Fondre so there's very little chance of us getting him (and maybe his reputed £10K a week pay demands might put us off too)
Bouhenna was signing autographs before the Forest game - maybe we're waiting on the clearance. I seem to remember it taking ages when Barnsley signed Colace. I would imagine Reece Brown could step in if Naylor comes off. Man Utd have apparently waived a loan fee for him so he can get some game time and experience

The players we are loaning from the likes of Chelski and Manu are obviously very good (otherwise they wouldnt be with those types of clubs) so should be worth a go in match time in the Championship.
I hope SOD gives them the opportunity then perhaps more will follow later.
I'm not sure whether he will do though, Healy spent more time on the bench than on the pitch.

the problem with bringing in loan players is sod will not pick them apart from on the bench, I have to agree about needing a keeper Woods just does not inspire confidence, imho think Sully should have retired if he wasn't going to be first choice to allow for some fresh blood to come in.

Agree on Sully there, reckon if we had budget to get new keeper in summer he would have done. A few good keepers, within our means moved in summer, looks lime SOD put his faith in young Woods though, just hope it's not misguided as so far it appears it may be. Wish the lad well, for him and club. Fingers crossed he comes good or we get a replacement who is nit work in progress or passed their best.

Bit too lightweight for this division lads....the young sub who came on (Bennett?!) looked lively though
