Strange 'All Ticket' Logic

From the club website 'The Club Shop will be open from 9am until noon Saturday 26th April 2014 and tickets can also be purchased on the day of the game from 9:00am onwards until kick-off'

So, not that different to many an away game when you have to buy a ticket to get in to the ground - either by giving it to someone at the turnstile or scanning it.

Why bother making it all ticket? Because Chesterfield have sold their allocation? They could still turn up at 2.55pm and go and stand wherever they like by buying a ticket and not divulging the team that they support when they do so. Or is it because the ticket stubs will give our fans in attendance priority for tickets for the play offs or Wembley? We won't sell out on either.

Surely if you are going to make it all ticket you don't make them available on the day. I expect the Pop side will be a lot fuller on Sunday - with Spireite fans.

I would think the Chesterfield fans would have to give a post code and proof of address Otep.As in my previous comments i agree its a farce.

Do you recall the Oxford Promotion Party game? I still wake up screaming in the middle of the night about that Lee Morris miss. I can still hear the Oxford fans singing 'We *ucked your party up, we *ucked your party up'.

I didn't get in the home end for that game. I was locked out. I went in the club shop and bought a ticket for the away end, no questions asked.

I fear the worst if Chesterfield supporters try and get on the pitch after the game.
I hope we don't have a repeat of the Grimsby debacle.

Come on, Guys

Think Bournemouth.

They won their promotion at our place and, as we saw in January, it all turned out well.

If history repeats tomorrow, I'd love to think we could be just as generous.

Bit of a dead rubber for us on the pitch. With luck on the injury front seemingly having departed, I would be more concerned about what sort of side we will have left for the play offs.

Whatever the atmosphere, crucial to keep all eleven on the pitch this year.
