Derby Legends playing on Sunday

On Sunday My brother is joining with some old Long Eaton school mates to take on the Derby Legends to support his friends fund raising for the Lullaby Trust.

My little Bro has been unable to sleep all week as the pressure mounts of playing on the same team as Inigo Idiakez ! He thinks he is leading the attack running onto crafted balls through from the Spanish wizard. I have pointed out that he has to then avoid BIG Darren Moore to get anywhere near the goal.

If any 606ers are able to get over to Derby Uni on
Sunday it would be much appreciated by all the lads .

Good cause, but with Father-In-Law over for a few weeks my days off are fully booked.

Will sponsor him instead and hope he gets a decent turnout tomorrow

Cheers 666 there is a link on the DET article.

The work of the Lullaby Trust is so important to families who have lost a child

Onto footballing matters ... I chatted to Darren Moore at the sports relief legends game a month ago ... And can confirm he is indeed a Big Unit... Blocking out the sun etc.
any advice to my brother (36 and with a dodgy knee) on how to outwit this Collosus ?

Will try and make it Hinton and throw a few quid in the bucket. Great cause and only round the corner from Baz Towers

Does ANYONE in your family have a set of working knees?!!

I can offer him no advice per se, but offer this nugget of reassurance rather; Big Darren Moore is coming to make both of his knees work equally well.

Get that scrawny Italian git to put his hand in his pocket also

666, no, big Dave is a gentleman and a devout Christian. He would never <ahem> harm a fellow human being.

Tell your bro the bigger they are the harder they fall

666 .... It did strike me that we are week at the knees in la familglia Hinton ..... His injury from clodding the turf for Shardlow St James ... Mine from aspiring to elite triathlon greatness ...... Clearly the family was destined for some form of glory only to be let down by a combination of fate and genetics....

Thinking about it both my Dad and Sister have also had knee surgery .... This is a disaster of a family !

But a least we tried

I assume my knees still work perfectly well
